Dr. James G. Strathman became the Center’s director in 1998, after 16 years of serving as the Center’s assistant and then associate director. Dr. Strathman comes to the Center from the University of Iowa where he received his Ph.D. in Geography in 1981. His research interests include regional science and transportation planning.
