HISTORIC GIS DATA: Portland's People & Places

This page includes GIS-ready data and projects that reflect the diversity of Portland's demographic landscape throughout time. Datasets include the many features of Portland's Oldtown/Chinatown, a 1938 Residential Security Map of Portland, spreadsheets and shapefiles of vice arrests in Oldtown for 1917 and 1924, shapefiles and a Google Earth project highlighting the historic City of Vanport, historic trolley lines, and data that highlight the diversity of Northwest Portland (ca. 1900).
