Classes & Programs
Gerontology classes are offered in different departments accross campus. These classes can be taken toward the Graduate Certificate in Gerontology, in fulfillment of the area requirement for the Master of Public Health, or as a first or second field of the doctoral program in Urban Studies and Planning or as a specialization in the doctoral program in Public Administration and Policy. - Graduate Certificate Program in Gerontology: The Graduate Certificate in Gerontology program provides multidisciplinary training for post-baccalaureate students interested in working with elders in a variety of settings. Find out about admissions, general requirements, and classes.
- PhD Programs: Gerontology is a field area in the PhD program in Urban Studies and Planning and can be chosen as a specialization field in the PhD program in Public Administration and Policy. Follow this link for more information about these programs.
