	2009 Summer Quantitative Methods Series at Portland State University Accommodations The following are suggested accommodations for those attending SQMS from out of town. Both hotels are within easy walking distance of campus and located within the downtown Portland area, accessible to local restaurants and attractions such as the Portland Art Museum and the Portland Farmer’s Market, brewpubs, and wine bars. Both hotels are within Portland’s “fareless square” which offers free transit on the Portland Streetcar and busses. Portland’s stylish, gallery-rich Pearl District is a 5 minute streetcar ride or a 10-15 minute walk.
