also has books, games bibliographies and instructional CD-ROM's. The Resource Center serves a variety of health
professionals some of whom use it to enhance professional competencies in
geriatrics and gerontology and others who are involved in education and

Training
materials are available for all topics that might serve Oregon's continuing education requirements
in the fields of geriatrics and gerontology. Examples include:
dementia/Alzheimer's disease, geriatric dental care, elder abuse, medication
management, falls, common diseases among elderly. Heavy emphasis, however, is
on dementia/Alzheimer's care and caring for the caregivers.
One
can use the materials in the OGEC
Resource Center
by becoming a member. Based on an annual fee, membership can be individual, organizational or
corporate.
